The YouTube Cannes Young Lions 48 hr ad contest!
Phew…quite a mouthful!
But it was a really interesting idea. Participants needed to make a viral ad ( in two days!) promoting the UN Climate change summit (Copenhagen, Dec 2009). Here’s the brief reproduced verbatim from the site:
“Your challenge is to make a video that tells people why December’s UN climate change summit in Copenhagen is one of the most important meetings in human history, and that the clock is ticking on our chances to save the world from the effects of climate change.”
Watch the video for more details.
The winners?
Well, none of my favorites won! But here are the two winning entries for the contest, none of which I’ve come across before (so much for my surfing skills!). Some great, great work!
